Boars Head Honey Maple Ham, Pepper, Onion & Potato Quiche

Breakfast quiches are my go to breakfast for school mornings, Thanksgiving morning and Christmas. I normally make 2 at a time. This has been a family tradition and staple of ours since we can remember. You can make these ahead of time and just rewarm in oven or microwave. Quiches aren’t just for breakfast either. They can be quite versatile for any event, and are easy to make if you are expecting a lot of people to feed for the holidays.Check out one of my favorite quiche recipes below!

Cooking Oven Time 1 Hrs

Prep Time 30 mins

 

Ingredients List for Quiche Recipe



1 Mrs. Smith Deep Dish Pie Crust

6 eggs

1 TBS Coconut Oil

1/2 C Heavy cream

2 small red potatoes; chopped

1/2 C green peppers chopped frozen

1/2 C white onions chopped frozen

1/2 lb Boars Head Honey Maple Ham

1/2 C Chesee of Choice

Salt and Pepper to taste

Cooking Directions for Quiche Recipe



Heat Coconut Oil and add chopped peppers and onions.

Add chopped potatoes

Cook peppers, onions and potatoes until done, generally 15 minutes in covered fry pan; medium heat

Cut ham in strips and add to sauce pan, cook another 10 minutes, low heat

Add a thin layer of cheese to pie crust.

Mix eggs and heavy cream in a bowl and add remaining cheese.

Fill pie shell with potatoes, peppers, onions and ham first.Boars Head Honey Maple Ham, Pepper, Onion & Potato Quiche

Then top with the egg mixture

Cover with foil

Cook at 425 degrees for 15 minutes

Reduce oven to 375 degree for 45 minutes or until done (knife comes out clean).

Remove foil the last 10 minutes for the quiche to brown, if desired.
